Located in Waterbury’s East Mountain neighborhood, Wendell Cross Elementary was designed as a sister school to Carrington Elementary School both aesthetically and programmatically.
Mimicking exterior materials of Carrington, this large structure blends with its surroundings and relates to the scale of its residential location.
Building and program elements from the original Carrington design were recomposed to flow organically with the rolling and complex site.
