FRIAR ARCHITECTURE AWARDED wendell cross elementary school!
The City of Waterbury recently selected Friar Architecture for alterations and additions to Wendell Cross School. Originally constructed as a primary school in 1953 with a gymnasium addition in the early 1960s, this will be the first significant renovation of the facility and promises to be an exciting new environment for the students.
This project will include an addition of a middle school program, a new gymnasium/cafeteria, a music/art wing, a student support center and a media center. Site improvements will be dramatic and will include added parking, bus and parent drop-off loops, hardscapes, playscapes and play fields.
We look forward to being a part of Waterbury's team on this exciting new project.
