CT DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS
The Department of Veteran Affairs hired Friar Architecture to complete accessibility upgrades on three of their buildings. Built in the 1940s the two residences and Commissary building were in great need of elevator, door, and hardware upgrades as well as revamping of the interior and exterior accessibility ramps. Chair lifts were also added to address accessibility to the areas beyond the ramps.
The team at Friar Architecture, who consist of several veterans themselves, were honored to complete this project for the people who have served and protected this great nation.
