REVIT COORDINATOR
General Information

Friar Architecture Inc., an award winning design firm, is seeking a REVIT Coordinator.  We are a mid-sized firm providing architecture, interior design and master planning services.  Our staff members enjoy a friendly environment, in support of our company’s mission “to create memorable places and lasting relationships” through hard work and creative design.

We are interested in meeting with qualified individuals capable of performing the following responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for REVIT standards development, implementation, and enforcement
  • Provide quality control for completeness and adherence to company office standards
  • Train and oversee the REVIT activities and trouble shoot “How To” issues for staff
  • Provide technical orientation to new hires regarding REVIT tools
  • Assist on project work: REVIT project setup, modeling, detailing, worksharing, interdisciplinary model coordination and clash detection.
  • Create REVIT families in response to project needs
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • Candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree within Design or a related field along with substantial experience in architectural drafting and production
  • Knowledge and experience drafting  in additional disciplines a plus
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in design, drafting or architectural production in REVIT
  • Superior in-depth working knowledge of REVIT, good knowledge of AutoCAD, and a skilled user of digital technology tools
  • Must understand the practice of architecture, project delivery, and construction methods
  • Must be a self-starter and possess the drive to pursue continued education on REVIT and related technologies
  • Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meets work goals
  • Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • Ability to determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Rendering knowledge and experience a plus

JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER POSITION
General Information

Friar Architecture Inc., an award winning design firm, is seeking a Junior Interior Designer.  We are a mid-sized firm providing architecture, interior design and master planning services.  Our staff members enjoy a friendly environment, in support of our company’s mission “to create memorable places and lasting relationships” through hard work and creative design.

We are interested in meeting with qualified individuals capable of performing the following responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:

  • Assists in programming studies & site surveys
  • Assists senior level designers in the development of design solutions for review
  • Researches Interior Products
  • Applies established office standards and interior design standards
  • Researches and selects finishes & materials
  • Assistance in developing finish boards & presentation materials
  • Assists Senior Interior Designer to maintain the materials library and stay current with new material offerings
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design from an accredited program or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years experience working in an Architectural firm
  • Basic knowledge of Interior drawings & specifications including; Interior Elevations, Casework Elevations & Sections, Finish plans, Furniture Plans & schedules
  • Has previous exposure with interior design specifications, and industry standards
  • Previous experience working on K-12 projects and familiarity assembling FF&E packages is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail are imperative
  • Must be able to handle assisting on multiple projects with concurrent timelines 
  • Software: REVIT, AutoCAD, MS Office Suite
  • SketchUp, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) experience a plus
